CRAIGHALL PARK

A small private library located in an established garden. The design is based on the module of a built in bookshelf, influenced by Japanese house and furniture design. The pavilion like building sits separate from the main house, orientated towards the garden and effectively separating living from working. While the building is flooded with light and views of greenery, windows are orientated so as to minimise direct sunlight onto the owner’s collection of books inside.
