As part of the University of the Witwatersrand’s centenary celebration the University envisaged a revamp of the foyer of its grand main building to include honours boards to recognise the universities prestigious scholars.  The panelling, which incorporates acoustic deadening, is a contemporary interpretation of the materials and architectural language of the historic building.
